NEW YORK (Reuters) -- A lawyer was arrested late Monday and charged with trespassing at a public mall in the state of New York after refusing to take off a T-shirt advocating peace that he had just purchased at the mall.
So now touting peace is illegal, but people walking around with deragatory t-shirts about middle easterners or killing terrorists are left to roam free. A silent declaration of peace from a father walking with his kid in the mall though warrants arrest and a possible prison sentence. And he bought the damn shirt AT the mall. What in the hell???
I spent most of this morning contacting college departments about teaching jobs and such. I hate being in the rat race again, but I need to do something or I am going to go crazy.
Summer is boring as shit. I have nothing to do and no one to do it with. Someone call me if you're bored and let's hang out.
Writing is cathartic more than I thought so. I started my play last night and got 7 pages into it. Kinda fun. I imagine conversations like I wish they would have happened, take my aggressions out through dialogue and character actions; I am having a ball.
Back to another day of being bored off my ass.
