Braving the Future
And so we being the journey down the long and dark winding path into destruction and the deconstructionism of everything American and democractic. Michael Moore has two amazing pieces on his page, the first of which allays some of my anxiety and the second of which is so ironically powerful because it doesn't say much, but expresses a lot. You MUST read them both. I am particularly shocked by how many soldiers have died in Iraq. I did not think the number to be so high, but then again, how am I or anyone in this country to know the truth. The war is being painted as some sort of saving grace that has its difficulties. Loss off life is not a difficulty, it's a casualty, and a sickening one at that. Those poor soldiers are overseas fighting the for the greedy cause of one man. This is not about terrorism. This is about capitalism and colonialism. And we all saw what happened to England after a while. Don't hand me some bullshit about wanting to save people when the reality is that you are trying to stuff your own pockets, civilize people who you think are backwards and need saving, and want to further spread the lunacy and fallacy of your ill-posited religion.
War is just the equivalent to two boys having a pissing contest. I say everyone just whips their dicks out, measures them, and gets it over with because at the end of the day even THAT makes more sense than sending more innocent people over to die for some anti-deluvian cause. People have forgotten why this country was formed. Forgot its very basic ideals. The forefathers surely would have guffawed at all this.
The next four years better fly by fucking fast....
And isn't the weather today AMAZING???
