D-Day is Upon Us

Well, tomorrow is the big one. This insane little election period will come to close and someone is going to come out the victor. The U.S. will either make a change for the better and start to earn back a modicum of the world's respect, not to mention that of its own inhabitants, or the country will take a turn for the worst and darkest days of its history. I really hope Kerry wins although I have this gut instinct that Bush will because of the majority mentatlity in this country and the fact that fears are being played on. We are royally fucked if he wins. And I love how everytime I get into a discussion with a Republican about it, their only response is: Well we pay for you to be here. Which is laughable because it is so untrue. Look if Plato's idea of the republic was highly flawed, and he certainly had a huge lead in the brains department, then this country's certainly is not going to work.

Did absolutely nothing for Halloween because I was exhausted from rehearsing and choreographing. Although I did have a funny moment when one of my students told me she was dressing up as an M&M (she is 9), but I misheard her and thought she said Eminem and was flabbergasted and impressed....then later embarassed when her mother corrected me.

On an unrelated note, people's complacenies in their lives and when they choose to partake in friendships never cease to amaze me. It's like having seasonal friends. Use as needed. It pisses me off that the people who bitch and complain the most about how they can't trust people and how no one is there for them are the same ones who refuse to accept any help, shit on their friends, and then have the gall and balls to demonize them as unworthy and never-friends-to-being-with. What kind of fucked up logic is that? Perhaps if they spent less time complaining about their pathetically un-miserable lives and took a second to realize what the hell is going on they would get a better grasp of the realities instead of finding solace in the most ridiculous of vices and usurers. Engh...I am disgusted and disappointed. But then again....did I really expect any better?
