Overheard at Dinner Tonight

"I had sex last night"

"Oooo, where did you meet him?"

"At a club."

"You little slut! How old was he?"

"He was actually older than me."

"Older than you? What kind of club did you go to? A mortuary?"

Ok...so it was not so much overheard as I said it.

Much laughter was to be had.

The View Catfights

This is not about Star Jones. That blonde girl on the panel, the one so unmemorable that I don't even recall what her name is, is a whiny ass bitch.

How the hell that ultra-right wing wimp made it on that show is beyond me. And why she would entertain getting into an argument with Joy Behar, who could consume her in one inhale, is beyond me.

This post stems from watching them have a discussion about the "oops" 72-hour pill and how she firmly believes life happens at the moment of fertilization, and the pill should not be easily accessible and should be reserved for those special circumstances like rape or incest where life is still valuable.

I really have no idea why this debate still goes on when at the end of the day it is a woman's choice. No one goes crazy that men have vasectomies. Those are potential millions of lives killed. Isn't that sacrilege? If the bible is against masturbation it would seem vasectomy would be in the same camp.

See? This is what happens when religion pervades every aspect of our life. And if you think there IS a separation between church and state, then you are deluded. It is prevalent in most decisions made for us by the government. The fact that gay marriage is not allowed because of family values - read: church doctrine - is a prime example of being led by the church instead of basic human rights.

And really, even with that, it all boils down to one very basic thing: it's no one's business!

And why is that bitch now sitting on Barbara Walter's lap and hugigng her. And why is Walters wussing out and apologizing. FIRE THE BITCH!

The problem with working from home: too many distractions.
The *almost* daily musings, gripes, and happenstances in the life of a 26-year-old performer, choreographer, socio-pop-cultural enthusiast with a bent for theology and making people tilt their heads and go "Hmm." Sometimes funny, sometimes sanguine, sometimes melancholic, but always with something to say in the absence of sound but in honor or humor.
